Presko combines a moderator-curated coffee guide with an independent Community catalogue. The official Presko rating is created by our moderators; the Community rating is the average of ratings saved in user collections.

Sign in and open My Collection. If the place exists, select it and add your score. If it is missing, choose Add New Presko and add the place with your rating. You see it immediately, while Community sees it only after review.
Absolutely. Your rating must be entered by you; Presko never copies the official score into it. Every My Collection rating contributes to the Community average, while your individual rating is not publicly attributed to you.
My Collection is your account's coffee collection. Add shops you have tried and enter or update your own score. Moderator and Founder accounts manage the canonical catalogue instead: their ratings publish directly to the public Presko guide and never enter the review queue.

No sign in needed to browse! But if you want to rate shops in your own list, or favorite places, you’ll need to sign in, it’s super quick!
Of course! Your 'My Collection' list is fully yours, you can edit your ratings or remove a coffee shop anytime you change your mind (or find a better Presko!).
Your Favourites, Wishlist and My Collection list are private. Ratings contribute only to an anonymous aggregate Community average and count; Presko does not show them as public reviews under your username. They never change the official Presko rating.
Each opinion has a coffee score and an Overall. Overall is 80% coffee and 20% price value, using a continuous price curve based on the current market. Presko uses its stored price snapshot. Community applies the same formula to the Community coffee average and newest submitted price; Presko scores are never included in Community averages.
Yes. Sign in, open My Collection, and choose Add New Presko. Presko searches for duplicates before the new place is sent for review.
Sometimes things change, prices go up, vibes shift, places close. Our ratings and prices reflect what we experienced at the time of our visit, and while we do our best to keep things current, it won’t always be perfect. But that’s the whole point of Presko, to share our honest experience in the moment. If you notice something off, let us know! We’re building tools to make that easier soon.
For now, Presko works great in mobile browsers, so you can rate on the go. A native app is brewing in the background!
