1. About these Terms
These Terms govern your use of Presko at presko.me. Presko is an independent coffee-discovery service operated by Jakub Holly in Slovakia.
By creating an account or using Presko, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use account features.
2. Age requirements and eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use Presko features that require an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. You must also be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms, provide accurate account information, and use Presko in compliance with applicable law.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity performed through your account. Notify Presko at jakub.holly237@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not:
- impersonate another person or access another user’s account;
- sell or transfer your account;
- create accounts through unauthorised automated methods; or
- create accounts to avoid a restriction or security measure.
4. Personal ratings and community averages
User and Administrator accounts may save personal coffee ratings, recorded prices and my collection entries. Account holders may also use favourites, wishlist entries and custom wishlist information. You retain ownership of information you submit.
You give Presko permission to store, process and display that information back to you as needed to provide the service. Personal ratings also contribute to an aggregate Community rating. Presko does not publicly identify which user supplied an individual rating. Community ratings are independent from, and never include, the official Presko rating.
You grant Presko a worldwide, non-exclusive and royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, aggregate and display submitted content only as needed to operate and improve the service. Presko may normalize or correct factual coffee-shop details so one real place has one consistent catalogue record. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for verified public business facts, moderation records and temporary backups retained as described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Ratings saved before and after this update contribute to the Community Rating. Deleting or changing a personal rating changes the aggregate after the service processes that action.
Submitted information must reflect a genuine experience or honestly held opinion. Do not submit unlawful, fraudulent, malicious or automated data.
5. Public coffee-shop database
Presko uses one canonical catalogue of real coffee shops. Users may submit new places and an initial rating. New places may remain pending or unverified until a Moderator or Founder verifies, edits, rejects, or merges them with an existing place. Do not knowingly submit duplicates or inaccurate business information.
Deleting the only My Collection rating for a new place before review withdraws the pending submission. If a Moderator or Founder has already verified the place or used it as the canonical result of a merge, the public business record may remain even after your personal rating is deleted.
The Presko catalogue contains only places with an active official moderator rating and is ranked only by that rating. The Community catalogue is ranked only from My Collection ratings. A place may show both ratings, but neither is blended into the other. Moderator and Founder accounts manage coffee-shop records and Presko ratings; Administrator accounts manage account security and cannot do so.
Public catalog information is provided for general discovery. Prices, quality, availability and operating status can change. Presko does not guarantee that every record is complete, current or error-free. Verify important information directly with the coffee shop before travelling or buying anything.
6. Acceptable use and moderation
You may not:
- interfere with Presko’s operation, security or access controls;
- attempt unauthorised access or introduce harmful code;
- overload the service or evade request limits;
- systematically scrape or copy Presko without permission;
- collect private information about other users;
- manipulate data or misuse staff permissions; or
- use Presko unlawfully or violate another person’s rights.
Presko may remove unlawful or inaccurate data and may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users or legal rights.
Duplicate checks and rating calculations use automated tools, but a Moderator or Founder makes the final decision to verify, edit, reject or merge a submitted place. To report unlawful or inaccurate content, or ask for a moderation decision to be reviewed, email jakub.holly237@gmail.com with the place name, location, relevant page and reason. Requests are reviewed by a person, and Presko may ask for information needed to understand the request.
7. Intellectual property
Presko’s software, branding, design, layout, original text and scoring methods are owned by Jakub Holly or used with permission. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
Coffee-shop names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on Presko does not imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement.
8. Account deletion
You may permanently delete your account through Profile → Account settings. This removes your active account and private saved data as described in the Privacy Policy. Limited pseudonymised administrative records and temporary provider backups may remain for the periods described there.
If you cannot access your account, contact jakub.holly237@gmail.com. Presko may ask you to verify account ownership.
9. Service availability and changes
Presko is an evolving independent project. Features, public catalog records, scoring methods and availability may change. The service may be interrupted, restricted or discontinued and is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Free service and third parties
Presko is currently free of charge. If paid features are introduced, their price and conditions will be shown before purchase, and users will not be charged without an affirmative purchase action.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. Presko does not control and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or security.
11. Disclaimers and liability
Presko is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Presko does not guarantee the accuracy of coffee-shop information, current prices, operating status, subjective ratings, uninterrupted availability or immediate correction of every error.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jakub Holly is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on catalog information, travel to a coffee shop, purchases from third parties, service interruption or circumstances outside reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights where exclusion would be unlawful.
12. Privacy
Presko’s processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
The latest version will be published here with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be announced through the website or by email. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.
14. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without removing mandatory consumer protections available under the laws of your country of residence. Nothing limits your right to bring a claim before a court or authority that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
