1. About these Terms
These Terms govern your use of Presko at presko.me. Presko is an independent coffee-discovery service operated by Jakub Holly in Slovakia.
By creating an account or using Presko, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use account features.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. You must provide accurate account information and use Presko in compliance with applicable law.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity performed through your account. Notify Presko at jakub.holly237@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not:
- impersonate another person or access another user’s account;
- sell or transfer your account;
- create accounts through unauthorised automated methods; or
- create accounts to avoid a restriction or security measure.
4. Private ratings and personal collections
User and Administrator accounts may save private coffee ratings, recorded prices and places visited entries. Account holders may also use favourites, wishlist entries and custom wishlist information. You retain ownership of information you submit.
You give Presko permission to store, process and display that information back to you as needed to provide the service. Personal ratings are private, are not publicly attributed to you, and do not change the scores in the public coffee-shop database.
Submitted information must reflect a genuine experience or honestly held opinion. Do not submit unlawful, fraudulent, malicious or automated data.
5. Public coffee-shop database
Presko publicly displays coffee-shop names, locations, coffee scores, prices, overall scores, closure status and related catalog information. Only authorised Moderator and Founder accounts may add, edit or delete records in this public database. Administrator accounts manage account security and dashboard administration, but cannot modify the public coffee-shop database.
Public catalog information is provided for general discovery. Prices, quality, availability and operating status can change. Presko does not guarantee that every record is complete, current or error-free. Verify important information directly with the coffee shop before travelling or buying anything.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- interfere with Presko’s operation, security or access controls;
- attempt unauthorised access or introduce harmful code;
- overload the service or evade request limits;
- systematically scrape or copy Presko without permission;
- collect private information about other users;
- manipulate data or misuse staff permissions; or
- use Presko unlawfully or violate another person’s rights.
Presko may remove unlawful or inaccurate data and may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users or legal rights.
7. Intellectual property
Presko’s software, branding, design, layout, original text and scoring methods are owned by Jakub Holly or used with permission. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
Coffee-shop names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on Presko does not imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement.
8. Account deletion
You may permanently delete your account through Profile → Account settings. This removes your active account and private saved data as described in the Privacy Policy. Limited pseudonymised administrative records and temporary provider backups may remain for the periods described there.
If you cannot access your account, contact jakub.holly237@gmail.com. Presko may ask you to verify account ownership.
9. Service availability and changes
Presko is an evolving independent project. Features, public catalog records, scoring methods and availability may change. The service may be interrupted, restricted or discontinued and is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Free service and third parties
Presko is currently free of charge. If paid features are introduced, their price and conditions will be shown before purchase, and users will not be charged without an affirmative purchase action.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. Presko does not control and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or security.
11. Disclaimers and liability
Presko is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Presko does not guarantee the accuracy of coffee-shop information, current prices, operating status, subjective ratings, uninterrupted availability or immediate correction of every error.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jakub Holly is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on catalog information, travel to a coffee shop, purchases from third parties, service interruption or circumstances outside reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights where exclusion would be unlawful.
12. Privacy
Presko’s processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
The latest version will be published here with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be announced through the website or by email. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.
14. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without removing mandatory consumer protections available under the laws of your country of residence. Nothing limits your right to bring a claim before a court or authority that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
